Job Description

JOB TITLE: Product Support Maintenance Engineer L2
LOCATION: Oklahoma City, OK
PAY RATE: $55/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • Analyze complex engineering designs and changes to determine maintenance/repair requirements, procedures, and instructions.

  • Influence product designs to ensure supportability and maintainability.

  • Develop and use fault isolation procedures, system theory descriptions, and verification analyses.

  • Create and review logistics support documentation (ILSP, PSAP, MTA, SERD, LORA, LSA, etc.).

  • Provide technical solutions and evaluate customer maintenance operations.

  • Develop procedures and techniques for maintaining and repairing aerospace systems.

  • Participate in industry and organizational activities to improve aerospace supportability.

  • Collaborate with program management, engineering teams, suppliers, and customers.

  • Manage tasks within budget and schedule requirements.

  • Work both independently and in team environments, demonstrating strong communication and decision-making skills.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, systems) with 2+ years of relevant experience OR equivalent education/experience.

  • 1–2 years reading/interpreting aircraft engineering drawings or process specifications.

  • 1–2 years working with aircraft technical manuals, Technical Orders, or equivalent documentation.

  • Experience interpreting engineering data and applying it to aircraft maintenance.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with PSA, LSA, GEIA-STD-0007, or MIL-HDBK-502A.

  • Proficiency with LSA software (Slicwave, EAGLE, Powerlog, Compass).

  • Experience with military and commercial technical publications/manuals.

  • Hands-on knowledge of systems such as Radar, Mission Computers, Comm/Nav, Powerplant, Avionics, Hydraulics, Electrical & Environmental.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with systems-thinking capability.

  • Experience in military/commercial airworthiness certification.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience in project engineering management and cost account management.

  • Aircraft experience with B-52 Bomber or AWACS strongly desired.
