JOB TITLE: V-22 Avionics/Electrical Mechanic - DEFENSE
LOCATION: NAS North Island, CA
PAY RATE: $35-42/hour

Clearance Required: Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required; active within last 24 months).

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
-
Perform maintenance, modifications, repairs, and troubleshooting on CMV-22 aircraft.
-
Assemble/disassemble aerospace components; remove/replace parts for repair, replacement, or testing.

Conduct functional/diagnostic tests to identify and resolve failures.
-
Perform verification and validation testing of systems/components.
-
Independently solve routine mechanical/electrical issues with minimal engineering support.
-
Document repairs, test results, modifications, and inspections per established processes.

Perform visual inspections, identify/document discrepancies, and ensure compliance with specifications.

Support engineering in resolving discrepancies and ensuring accuracy of modification procedures.

Participate in short-term travel (up to 25%) to domestic military bases (including CONUS + Hawaii).
Requirements:
-
Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (or active within the past 24 months).

High School Diploma or GED
-
4+ years of related experience, or equivalent education/experience combination
-
Experience with V-22 aircraft maintenance/modifications.
-
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.

Quality Assurance experience.

Depot-level modification experience.
-
Willingness and ability to travel (short notice, up to 25%).

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
