JOB TITLE: Electronics Technician - 2nd Shift
LOCATION: Maxwell AFB, AL
PAY RATE: $35-43/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (11 months with potential for extension)

• Schedule: Full-Time, 4x10 (Mon–Thu), 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM (Candidates must be flexible to work all shifts as program needs require)

• Clearance: Interim Clearance required to start

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Assemble, disassemble, or modify systems to correct failures or implement changes.

• Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate and repair faults.

• Conduct operational, functional, validation, and verification testing of systems and components.

• Inspect components and verify repairs meet flight-worthiness requirements.

• Remove/install systems and components on and off equipment/aircraft.

• Perform configuration changes based on mission requirements.

• Conduct explosive operations: load, unload, arm, and safe conventional air munitions and pyrotechnics.

• Maintain tools, clean work areas, and complete work control documentation.

• Provide training and guidance to junior personnel.

Requirements:

• Interim security clearance required to start.

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

• Minimum 3 years aviation maintenance experience.

• Testing, repair, and configuration experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).

• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs; all PPE provided

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Experience:

• Military background.

• Helicopter maintenance experience.

• AMP (Aircraft Maintenance Program) experience.
