JOB TITLE: V-22 Aircraft Maintenance - DEFENSE
LOCATION: 
MCAS Miramar, CA
PAY RATE: $35-43/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Clearance: Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (or one active within the past 24 months; U.S. Citizenship required).

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Independently assemble, disassemble, repair, and modify aerospace components following maintenance practices and product specifications.

  • Remove and replace components to support repair, replacement, or testing for product serviceability.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve routine and complex issues during operation, maintenance, and overhaul of deliverable products.

  • Coordinate assembly, disassembly, and overhaul tasks to ensure accuracy and thoroughness.

  • Perform functional and diagnostic testing of aerospace/missile systems using monitoring instruments and automated test equipment.

  • Conduct validation and verification testing to ensure system and component serviceability.

  • Isolate and correct mechanical or electrical faults with minimal engineering assistance.

  • Document repairs, test results, modifications, and inspections to maintain regulatory and contractual compliance.

  • Inspect components for cleanliness and serviceability; identify and document discrepancies.

  • Execute modifications to ensure deliverable products meet requirements.

Requirements:

  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (or one active within the past 24 months; U.S. Citizenship required).

  • High school diploma or GED with 4+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience in V-22 maintenance and modification.

  • Ability to travel up to 30%; must be willing to travel on short notice to domestic locations, including CONUS military bases and Hawaii, for varying durations.

Preferred Skills:

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant License

  • Quality Assurance experience

  • Extensive depot-level modification experience
