JOB TITLE: Subcontract Administrator - Level 2
LOCATION: Lexington, KY
PAY RATE: $26-34.20/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Summary: 

  • Administer and manage subcontracts from RFP to closeout.

  • Monitor and ensure subcontractor cost, schedule, and performance compliance.

  • Implement supplier corrective actions and “return to green” initiatives as needed.

  • Prepare and deliver status reports to senior and executive leadership.

  • Partner with Compliance to support audits and ensure regulatory adherence.

Requirements:

  • Secret clearance required to start

  • Experience in Government procurements/subcontract acquisitions.

  • Strong understanding of global supply chain operations and complex Government procurement processes.

  • Proven ability to analyze data and develop negotiation positions based on multiple data sources.

  • In-depth knowledge of cost/price analysis, FAR, and DFAR.

  • Experience evaluating proposals, Statements of Work, and leading negotiations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership in team and project management; strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Highly organized and capable of working in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.

  • Familiarity with DoD contract types and SAP systems.

  • Experience establishing and managing supplier relationships and performance.

  • Working knowledge of labor contracts and SOF contracts.

  • Background in both competitive and non-competitive pricing agreements.

  • Experience leading complex negotiations and Subcontract Management Teams (SMTs).

  • Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, suppliers, and external partners.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
