PAY RATE: $41.91/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Assemble, disassemble, and/or modify aerospace systems.

  • Change, remove, replace, or upgrade aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement approved modifications.

  • Oversee assembly, disassembly, and overhaul activities.

  • Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.

  • Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

  • Isolate mechanical and electrical faults and repair defective components.

  • Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components.

  • Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, modifications, inspections).

  • Inspect components and verify repairs to ensure flight worthiness requirements are met.

  • Support and/or oversee training activities as needed.

  • Work under general direction.

Requirements:

  • Secret clearance required

  • High School diploma or GED required.

  • Typically 4 or more years of related work experience required.

  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience acceptable (e.g., vocational school, Associate degree plus 2+ years of related experience, Bachelor’s degree, etc.).

  • Applicable and appropriate educational and/or certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience required.

  • Eagerness to learn and develop technical expertise.

  • Minimum of 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience.

  • Ability to prioritize and complete required training and qualification requirements in a timely manner.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills in pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

  • High attention to detail to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Experience:

  • 1+ year of C-17 aircraft experience.

  • U.S. Air Force maintenance experience.

  • Structural maintenance experience.

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.
