PAY RATE: $23.31/hour

Summary:
-
Fabricate and install upholstery, cover panels, and create simple patterns for aircraft interiors in accordance with design drawings and aircraft specifications.

Perform upholstery tasks according to design, customer, FAA, and specifications, following work order instructions and quality standards

Fit and install panels, cabin headliners, upper/lower sidewalls, hatch panels, and windows; cut and surge carpets, cover bulkheads, fabricate metal parts, and install finished panels

Create and install carpet patterns per design drawings

Use the material tracking system to request parts, track discrepancies, and sign off completed work

Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or GED required
-
Entry-level position
-
Experience with commercial sewing machines, sergers, and/or hand tools used in upholstery and carpet trades preferred
-
Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documents
-
Skilled in using measuring tools and performing basic math
-
Basic computer literacy required

Ability to climb ladders and stairs, work in confined spaces, lift up to 40 lbs, and work any shift

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
