JOB TITLE: Entry-Level Avionics Installer – Multiple Openings
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $25.65/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Assist with the installation, modification, and testing of avionics and electrical systems.

• This includes wire harness fabrication, system terminations, ring-outs, and functional testing.

• Assist in the removal and installation of avionics components and wiring per blueprints and engineering drawings

• Support the fabrication and installation of electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment

• Complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes

• Maintain required logs and records accurately

• Adhere to safety procedures, FOD control, tool control, and 5S standards

• Care for shop tools and equipment properly

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 6 months of aviation electronics schooling or general electrical experience

• Technical certificate in aircraft electrical assembly

• Completion of a current-year youth apprenticeship program

• General knowledge of regulatory requirements and customer specifications

• Must know how to use a multimeter

• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Basic computer skills

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
