JOB TITLE: Aircraft Cabinet Finisher II - Weekend Day Shift 
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $25.65/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Apply finishes using spray equipment and manual/mechanical methods

• Utilize various materials and tools such as sandpaper, polishes, adhesives, solvents, and power tools

• Follow all safety, 5S, and housekeeping procedures; use personal protective equipment to protect aircraft interiors (PTP)

• Use the material tracking system to create part demands, log squawks, and sign off work

• Collaborate with leads and experienced technicians to implement process improvements that enhance safety, reduce costs, and improve cycle time and labor efficiency, using Lean Six Sigma and other methods

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in wood finishing

• Aerospace industry experience preferred

• Basic knowledge of cabinet finishing processes and products

• Must be computer literate

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

• Must be able to climb ladders/stairs, work in confined areas, lift up to 40 lbs, and work any shift

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
