Job Description

JOB TITLE: Entry-Level Avionics Installer I – 2nd Shift
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $25.65/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Assist in the removal and installation of avionics and electrical components, fabrication of wire harnesses, installations, terminations, ring-out, and functional testing of avionics/electrical systems.

  • Assist in installations, modifications, and fabrication of wiring, electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment in accordance with blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings

  • Support task completion within the designated timeframe

  • Help maintain required logs and records

  • Comply with company programs and regulations, including FOD prevention, tool control, the 5-S program, and all safety protocols

  • Properly care for and maintain shop tools and equipment as assigned

  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Entry-level position

  • Six (6) months of accredited schooling in aviation electronics or general electrical experience preferred

  • General knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications

  • Must be able to use a multimeter

  • Technical Certificate in aircraft electrical assembly preferred and/or successful completion of a current-year youth apprenticeship program sponsored in the area of expertise

  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with general software programs

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
