JOB TITLE: RS Aircraft Maintenance Technician II - Weekend Days
LOCATION: Dallas, TX
PAY RATE: $33.81/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Perform complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal supervision; communicate effectively to receive and clarify assignments.

  • Coordinate with MTL, STM, and Inspection to ensure compliance with internal and FAA documentation standards; complete work orders, CMP cards, and sign-offs accurately and on time.

  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.

  • Tag and securely store customer property and components.

  • Follow proper procedures when operating ground support equipment (e.g., power carts, hydraulic lifts, tow tugs, forklifts).

  • Assist with aircraft movement on ramps and in hangars.

  • Train and support less experienced technicians.

  • Protect customer property at all times.

  • Properly dispose of waste fluids and materials; apply 6S and Lean practices to maintain clean, organized workspaces.

  • Support and apply Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives.

  • Maintain and return company tools and equipment to proper storage after use.

  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required protective gear; address unsafe conditions immediately.

  • Use the material tracking system for parts requests, labor charges, and task sign-offs.

  • May participate in aircraft certification and flight testing as required.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate and 2 years of aviation maintenance experience, or 4 years of aviation maintenance experience including 2 years on mid/large-size aircraft.

  • Valid Driver’s License.

  • Working knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and company policies/procedures.

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
