JOB TITLE: RS Avionics Installer II
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $30.17/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Assist in the installation, modification, and fabrication of wiring and electrical components based on blueprints and engineering drawings

• Perform terminations, ring-out, and functional testing of avionics/electrical systems

• Maintain accurate logs and records of all work performed

• Ensure all work meets FAA regulations and customer specifications

• Inspect completed work to ensure a defect-free final product

• Follow all safety procedures, including FOD prevention, tool control, and 5S practices

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

• Maintain and properly care for shop tools and equipment

• Participate in continuous improvement activities (e.g., YIAW, Kaizen events)

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics

• OR two (2) years of related work experience

• OR avionics certificate from an accredited school plus one (1) year of related experience

• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams

• Familiarity with FAA regulatory requirements and customer specifications

• Computer literacy and general software proficiency

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

• Must be detail-oriented and able to complete tasks within set timeframes

• Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and programs

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
