Summary: 

  • Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify balanced systems of systems and system solutions across the full lifecycle

  • Define system performance requirements and integrate technical parameters

  • Ensure compatibility of physical, functional, and program interfaces to optimize overall system and system-of-systems architectures

  • Perform specialty engineering analyses to support trade studies and architecture decisions, including:

    • Affordability

    • Safety

    • Reliability, Maintainability, and Testability

    • Human Systems Integration (HSI)

    • Survivability, Vulnerability, and Susceptibility

    • System Security

    • Regulatory compliance, certification, and product assurance

  • Develop preferred system configurations that ensure mission success and operational effectiveness

  • Support verification and validation activities to ensure compliance with requirements

  • Collaborate across engineering disciplines, programs, and stakeholders throughout development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Engineering Technology), Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science

  • 9+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience

  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo or other SysML-compatible modeling tools

  • Experience and domain knowledge in system architecture, requirements development, interface definition, verification, and validation

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Experience working in complex, multidisciplinary engineering environments

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Familiarity with regulated or mission-critical system development
