JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Planner 3
LOCATION: San Antonio, TX
PAY RATE: $50.50/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

• Job Type: Contract (9 months with potential for extension)

Summary: 

• Integrate suppliers, processes, materials, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.

• Review and approve supplier data to ensure compliance with manufacturing requirements.

• Develop tooling requirements and manage tools from design through end-of-life disposition.

• Investigate and resolve manufacturing-related issues.

• Perform producibility assessments for parts or product designs and provide input to design and manufacturing processes.

• Draft, update, and review processes and procedures to meet business and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Security Clearance: SECRET (Not required to start)

• Education typically acquired through an Associate degree and 3+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

• 5+ years of Manufacturing Planner experience

• 5+ years of CAD software experience

• Ability to interpret 2D and 3D drawings and specifications

• Strong skills in analyzing and interpreting engineering data

• Knowledge of manufacturing engineering processes

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer applications

• Ability to obtain customer approval for access (dual or prior citizenship of another country may affect eligibility)

• Willingness to undergo a third-party background check covering personal and business finances, residences, employment history, past drug use, prior military service, and criminal behavior

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
