JOB TITLE: Software Engineer
LOCATION: Owego, NY
PAY RATE: $39 – $52/hour NOOT

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (Up to 9 months with potential for extension)

• Schedule: 4/10, first shift

• Security Clearance: Must have active clearance to start

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Design, develop, and maintain C++ code for secure applications

• Develop new applications and maintain legacy systems

• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines to streamline development

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver prototype and fully capable systems

• Apply knowledge of hardware, software, and business/mission requirements to develop solutions

• Debug and resolve software issues, prepare documentation, and ensure compliance with software standards

Requirements:

• Must have active clearance to start

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field

• C++ development experience

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
