JOB TITLE: Software Engineer
LOCATION: 
Camden, NJ
PAY RATE: $60.00/hour NOOT

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Schedule: 4/10 – 1st Shift

  • Clearance: Interim or full Secret Clearance required prior to start (Interim Secret acceptable)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Develop high-performance C++ software supporting:

    • Radar modeling

    • Scene modeling

    • Signal construction

    • Signal processing

    • Radar control processing components

  • Work within simulation and digital twin environments

  • Integrate software with external systems for high-volume, high-fidelity radar simulations

  • Apply a systems engineering perspective to ensure robust solutions

  • Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance

  • Influence technical direction of projects

  • Collaborate with software and systems architects to ensure solution reliability

Requirements:

  • Interim or full Secret Clearance required prior to start (Interim Secret acceptable)

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or related STEM field

  • Strong experience with C++ or other object-oriented programming languages (Java, C#, etc.)

  • Agile methodology: release planning, sprint planning, and scrum

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong technical documentation skills

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Desired Skills:

  • Strong mathematics background: linear algebra, statistical analysis, signal processing

  • Functional knowledge of radar systems, subsystems, and radar modeling design tools

  • Radar systems development experience including algorithms, software, data analysis, and modeling & simulation

  • Technical leadership and program execution experience

  • Demonstrated analytical, applied mathematics, and problem-solving skills
