JOB TITLE: Systems Integration Test Engineer - DEFENSE 
LOCATION: Orlando, FL
PAY RATE: $65.87/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Shift: 1st Shift (4/10 Schedule)

  • Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required to start

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Plan and execute integration and system testing for complex systems and subsystems

  • Translate customer requirements into test solutions that meet technical, cost, and schedule objectives

  • Establish and maintain functional and technical specifications and standards

  • Identify and resolve hardware/software interface issues

  • Develop and direct comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules

  • Coordinate subsystem and system-level testing activities

  • Analyze test results and prepare detailed evaluation reports

  • Write discrepancy reports and perform regression testing to validate fixes

Requirements:

  • Active Secret Clearance required to start

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field

  • 4–6 years of Software Development (C, C++, LabView preferred)

  • 4–6 years of Production experience

  • 6+ years of Test Equipment Design experience

  • 6+ years of Electronic and Mechanical Testing experience

  • Proficient in LabView/LabWindows CVI and NI systems (development and maintenance)

  • Strong C/C++ programming skills with ATE hardware integration experience (switches, VXI/PXI chassis, EO testing, automation)

  • Experience developing and maintaining Automated Test Equipment (ATE) in a high-volume production environment

  • Experience supporting Electro-Optic sensor solutions for military platforms

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent attention to detail in documentation and verification

  • Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams

  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision

  • Adaptability in a fast-paced production and testing environment

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
