Job Description

JOB TITLE: Software Test & Verification Engineer 3
LOCATION: Oklahoma City, OK
PAY RATE: $74.50/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Develop and maintain software test plans and procedures

  • Design and implement automated, requirements-based test frameworks (Tier 4 & Tier 5)

  • Build automated test infrastructure tailored to system components (e.g., LRUs such as MACU, DAMU, ANP-R, MAGU)

  • Create and maintain test scripts based on system and software requirements

  • Develop infrastructure for automated unit testing and regression testing

  • Support integration, system, and regression testing activities

  • Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and results

  • Generate and manage test artifacts and documentation

  • Support verification and validation (V&V) and certification efforts

  • Troubleshoot defects and support issue resolution and system reliability improvements

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test coverage and system performance

Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or related field

  • Typically 5+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination (e.g., Master’s +3 years, PhD)

  • ABET-accredited degree (preferred, not required)

  • Strong experience in software test and verification for embedded or safety-critical systems

  • Experience developing automated test infrastructure and frameworks

  • Experience with requirements-based testing and validation processes

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to work in a cross-functional environment

  • Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.
