JOB TITLE: Support Engineering Data Specialist 2
LOCATION: Oklahoma City, OK
PAY RATE: $47/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Clearance: Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance required prior to start

  • Schedule: Full-Time 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Flexible schedule available (many team members work 4x10s)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Interpret and analyze engineering data, reliability and maintainability data, supply chain data, and operational support concepts.

  • Develop support solutions and products, including:

    • Logistics support analysis

    • Provisioning solutions

    • Spares solutions

    • Maintenance and inspection documentation

  • Write and maintain technical documentation for operating, testing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft systems and components.

  • Develop support systems and maintenance tasks to meet product supportability requirements.

  • Identify logistics support candidates and create logistics support analysis records and reports.

  • Determine spares provisioning requirements, including recommendations for replacement parts and stocking levels.

  • Evaluate aircraft fleet performance, reliability, and availability to support maintenance concept development.

  • Assist with collecting and analyzing technical support data elements and specifications.

  • Collaborate with engineers, SMEs, and illustrators to produce clear and accurate technical publications.

Requirements:

  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance required prior to start

  • High School Diploma or GED with relevant experience.

  • 4+ years of experience in U.S. Air Force heavy aircraft maintenance or USAF aircraft structures.

  • Experience using technical authoring tools, including:

    • Microsoft Word

    • Adobe Acrobat

    • FrameMaker

    • Arbortext Editor

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and parts lists.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to follow established technical documentation processes and checklists.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Jet engine maintenance experience

  • Hydraulics technician experience
