Job Description

JOB TITLE: Software Engineer
LOCATION: Moorestown, NJ
PAY RATE: $60/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Clearance: Active Secret clearance (Interim Secret acceptable; required prior to start)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Develop high-performance C++ software for radar modeling and simulation

  • Support components including signal processing, radar control, and scene modeling

  • Integrate software within complex system-of-systems environments

  • Apply systems engineering principles to ensure reliable and scalable solutions

  • Collaborate with technical leads, architects, and cross-functional teams

  • Contribute to Agile development processes (sprint planning, release planning, Scrum)

  • Mentor junior engineers and help influence technical direction

Requirements:

  • Active Secret clearance (Interim Secret acceptable; required prior to start)

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or related STEM field

  • 2–5 years of professional experience

  • Strong experience with C++ or object-oriented programming (Java, C#, etc.)

  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, sprint planning, release planning)

  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written, verbal, and technical documentation skills

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong background in linear algebra, statistical analysis, and signal processing

  • Knowledge of radar systems, subsystems, and design tools

  • Experience in radar systems development, including algorithms, modeling, and simulation

  • Technical leadership or mentoring experience

  • Advanced analytical and applied mathematics expertise
