JOB TITLE: Industrial Engineer 3
LOCATION: Berkeley, MO
PAY RATE: $61.75/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Apply industrial engineering methods to support program requirements across production and operations

  • Develop plant layouts, equipment configurations, and capacity plans

  • Design workflows, sequencing of operations, and production systems for optimal efficiency

  • Evaluate and integrate new technologies and techniques into manufacturing processes

  • Analyze workflows and develop data models, databases, and reports to support decision-making

  • Research, design, and implement process improvements to enhance schedule performance, reduce costs, and improve quality

  • Develop and execute plans for facility modifications and operational improvements

  • Create and standardize product assembly instructions and practices

  • Prepare operations plans, including work statement analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and capacity planning

  • Support execution planning using project management, scheduling, and shop load practices

  • Provide production, supply chain, and recovery planning support

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, design requirements, and ergonomic guidelines

Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field

  • 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree

    • OR 3+ years with a Master’s degree

    • OR equivalent experience with a PhD

  • Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Lean Manufacturing

  • Experience working cross-functionally in an integrator or lead role

  • Strong passion for continuous improvement and process optimization

  • Proven ability to stabilize and improve manufacturing operations
