JOB TITLE: Customer Service Representative I

PAY RATE: $21.00 – 24.00/hour

Job Type: Contract (6 months with potential for extension)

Summary:
Requests lead time, price, and data to build quotes for non-priced materials and prepares and submits quotes to customers.
Liaises and follows up with internal departments to create part numbers and update pricing information in ERP.
Reviews all customer order terms and conditions to protect the business interest of the Company.
Reviews orders prior to entering into system for correct pricing, order numbers, and part numbers to ensure accuracy of all data.
Receives, reviews, and acknowledges customer purchase orders, utilizing SPEC 2000, EDI, or AEROXCHANGE where applicable.
Identifies alternative solutions for required material or requested information to respond to customer needs.
Monitors backlog and proactively informs customers of recovery plans if promise dates will slip.
Supports Accounts Receivables by resolving open issues that may contribute to no or slow payment.
Serves as AOG (Aircraft on Ground) officer in rotation with other CSRs.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
High School diploma or equivalent.
2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Proficiency in Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Knowledge of ERP systems (a plus).
Accurate data entry skills.
Previous customer service experience preferred.
Previous industry experience preferred.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong phone etiquette.
