Summary: 

• Perform a range of custodial and maintenance tasks to support the upkeep of equipment and facilities.

• Practical skills and general knowledge in various trades such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work (though not at a journeyman level).

• Perform custodial duties to maintain cleanliness and safety of facilities.

• Replace electrical receptacles, switches, fixtures, wires, and small motors.

• Patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings using plaster or compound.

• Repair or replace sinks, toilets, and water coolers.

• Paint buildings, structures, and equipment.

• Repair or replace concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks.

• Replace or repair floor tiles, paneling, doors, locks, and broken window panes.

• Perform general maintenance on equipment and machinery as needed.

• This position excludes individuals in formal apprenticeships, those requiring demonstrated proficiency in a specific trade, or those performing only basic duties such as changing light bulbs or faucet washers.

Requirements:

• Active Secret Clearance

• High School Diploma or GED

• Previous custodial experience.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
