Job Description

JOB TITLE: Configuration Management

PAY RATE: $43.17/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Clearance: U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance; Interim Secret required to start.

Summary: 

  • Maintain authoritative configuration baselines and manage product revision control.

  • Design and support documentation-traceability workflows for engineering and manufacturing teams.

  • Review, track, and categorize engineering changes against approved customer baselines.

  • Analyze Technical Data Packages and communicate configuration impacts to stakeholders.

  • Ensure CM and Document Management (DM) processes comply with contract, regulatory, and internal requirements.

  • Lead change-management activities from concept through product sustainment.

  • Contribute to special projects and cross-site initiatives to enhance T3 fidelity.

  • Produce clear, concise documentation for mission-critical work.

  • Mentor junior analysts and share best practices.

Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance; Interim Secret required to start.

  • Associate’s degree + 10+ years of CM-related experience (or equivalent).

  • Experience applying CM policies, procedures, and tools.

  • Ability to interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs) and drawings.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple assignments.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; collaborative team player.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree + 6+ years of professional experience.

  • CM certifications.

  • Experience with PLM systems, ERP, SharePoint, Windchill, JIRA, Confluence.

  • Familiarity with electronics manufacturing/design.

  • Experience in defense, aerospace, military, or logistics environments.

  • Knowledge of Configuration Management Principles (SAE EIA-649).
