JOB TITLE: Composite and Polymer Process Engineer - DIRECT
LOCATION: Greenville, SC
SALARY: $70,000-80,000/year

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Lead daily press-molding operations, equipment maintenance, and scheduling for reinforced polymer parts

• Operate molding equipment and understand production machine controls

• Design and test prototype tooling and materials for new product development

• Develop tooling inspection procedures and process documentation

• Manage material/component selection and availability

• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure product quality

• Troubleshoot molds, machines, and processes

• Maintain molding equipment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Polymer/Plastics discipline preferred or equivalent experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in plastics injection/compression molding

• Hands-on experience developing multi-cavity mold tooling processes

• Strong background in injection/compression molding manufacturing

• Knowledge of automation, electronics, PLC programming, and fluid power

• Proficient in documenting process steps and component/equipment design; CAD skills required (training available)

• Self-starter with the ability to schedule and execute tasks independently

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
