JOB TITLE: Composite and Polymer Process Engineer - DIRECT
LOCATION: Greenville, SC
SALARY: $70,000-80,000/year

Summary:
Lead daily press-molding operations, equipment maintenance, and scheduling for reinforced polymer parts
Operate molding equipment and understand production machine controls
Design and test prototype tooling and materials for new product development
Develop tooling inspection procedures and process documentation
Manage material/component selection and availability
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure product quality
Troubleshoot molds, machines, and processes
Maintain molding equipment
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Polymer/Plastics discipline preferred or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in plastics injection/compression molding
Hands-on experience developing multi-cavity mold tooling processes
Strong background in injection/compression molding manufacturing
Knowledge of automation, electronics, PLC programming, and fluid power
Proficient in documenting process steps and component/equipment design; CAD skills required (training available)
Self-starter with the ability to schedule and execute tasks independently
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
