JOB TITLE: Composite Repair Technician
LOCATION: Kinston, NC
PAY RATE: $42.00/hr

Details:
12-month contract with opportunities for extension
Pay and per diem ($110/week for qualified candidates)
Must work any shift, including overtime/weekends as needed
Must stand for entire 8-hour shift

Summary:
Lay out, assemble, and bond metal, composite, or laminate fabrications, parts, skins, or equipment.
Follow engineering and manufacturing specs to determine parts, temperature, and pressure requirements.
Cut materials to size and operate autoclave, hydraulic presses, and ovens for bonding.
Sand, smooth, and apply sealing resins.
Perform rework, repair, and quality verification as needed.
Use lay-up tools and precision instruments to meet engineering specs.
Handle solvents and cleaning solutions per established procedures and perform minor machine maintenance.
Move products within the work area and support continuous workflow by training others.
Required Skills:
2-5 years of Composite Repair experience (required)
Aerospace experience (required)
Local candidates strongly preferred
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
