Summary: 

Job Description:

Seeking a detail-oriented Inspector with experience in subassemblies, communication racks, and cable assemblies. This role involves visual and dimensional inspection of in-process and completed units using measuring tools and inspection documentation. Must be able to identify non-conformances per IPC-A-620 and customer specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect subassemblies, communication racks, and cables using visual and mechanical inspection tools (micrometers, dial indicators, scales, etc.).

• Accept, reject, or rework units based on inspection results.

• Review and follow blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and checklists.

• Perform light assembly tasks in support of inspection when required.

• Communicate effectively with assemblers, engineers, and management to resolve quality issues.

• Ensure compliance with quality standards, including revision control and documentation procedures.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

• Experience inspecting cable assemblies including soldered and crimped connections per IPC-A-620.

• Proficient in interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, and work instructions.

• Strong background in cable manufacturing and inspection.

• Willingness to support assembly activities in the inspection area.

• Proficient with PCs, including email, file access, and SharePoint.

• Must be able to read and write English.

• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
