JOB TITLE: Cable Inspector - 2nd Shift
LOCATION: Clearwater, FL
PAY RATE: $26-30/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Shift: 2nd (3:30 PM–2:00 AM, Mon–Thurs, OT Weekends)

Summary: 

• Inspect cables using established methods, operations, and specifications

• Use measuring devices such as dial indicators, micrometers, and scales

• Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and inspection instructions

• Monitor quality using statistical process or other control procedures

• Communicate effectively with assemblers, engineers, and management

• Perform assembly tasks related to inspection areas as needed

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Experience in cable manufacturing and inspection

• Knowledge of soldered and crimp inspection using IPC-A-620 standards

• Detail-oriented; able to interpret drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, and work instructions

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Team-oriented; able to collaborate with assemblers, test technicians, engineers, customers, and management

• Proficient with personal computers and modern applications

• Must be able to read and write English

• Must pass a medical screening exam as outlined in the supplier guide

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
