JOB TITLE: Cable Inspector - 1st Shift 
LOCATION: Clearwater, FL
PAY RATE: $26-28/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Inspect cables using predetermined methods, operations, and specifications.

• Utilize measuring devices such as dial indicators, micrometers, and scales.

• Accept, reject, or rework defective units or systems.

• Work from blueprints, diagrams, customer specifications, and inspection instructions.

• Monitor and verify quality per statistical process and control procedures.

• Communicate effectively with assemblers, engineers, and management to resolve issues.

• Perform assembly tasks in assigned inspection areas as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

• Strong background in cable manufacturing and inspection.

• Experience with soldered and crimp inspection using IPC-A-620 standards.

• Detail-oriented with ability to interpret drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, and work instructions.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team and interface with multiple departments.

• Proficient with personal computers and relevant software applications.

• Must be able to read and write English.

• No degree required.

• Must pass medical screening as outlined in the supplier guide.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
