JOB TITLE: Cable Inspector - 1st Shift
LOCATION: Clearwater, FL
PAY RATE: Up to $23/hour

Job Details:

• Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

• Shift: 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM EST, Monday – Thursday (Overtime may be required on weekends)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Perform visual and mechanical inspection of cable assemblies using blueprints, diagrams, scales, and micrometers.

• Identify non-conformances in accordance with IPC-A-620 and other relevant standards.

• Accept, reject, or rework units based on inspection results.

• Document and communicate quality issues clearly with assemblers, engineers, and management.

• Interpret and work from drawings, parts lists, revision-controlled documents, and work instructions.

• Perform basic assembly tasks in assigned inspection areas as needed.

• Monitor quality using statistical or control procedures.

Requirements:

• Experience inspecting cable assemblies per IPC-A-620.

• Prior inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical documents.

• Proficiency with computers and modern applications.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to interface diplomatically with multiple departments.

• Must pass a medical screening exam.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
