JOB TITLE: Cable Assembler
LOCATION: Clearwater, FL
PAY RATE: $18-22/hour

Job Details:
Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Shift: Mon–Thurs, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM

Summary:
Assemble copper and coax wires using hand tools (strip, crimp, and terminate)
Follow processes and read/interpret print instructions and wiring diagrams
Perform assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical subassemblies (modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, cables)
Use hand/power tools, jigs, and saws for assembly tasks
Conduct quality inspections according to specifications
Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test prototype or experimental assemblies as needed
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to IPC standards
Operate computers and maintain strong written communication
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
High mechanical aptitude; hands-on hobbies or mechanical experience considered
Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
Ability to follow processes and instructions accurately
IPC-WHMA-A-620 experience preferred but not required
Must read and write English
Must pass a medical exam
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
