Job Description

JOB TITLE:  Aircraft Cabinet Finisher II
LOCATION: Savannah, GA

PAY RATE: $25.65/hour

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

  • Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

  • Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Summary: 

  • Prepare furniture for finishing and disassembly using blueprints and specifications.

  • Perform high-quality repairs and polishing of finished surfaces on aircraft and in the shop.

  • Apply finishes using spray equipment, sandpapers, polishes, adhesives, and other tools.

  • Comply with safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies, using personal protective equipment to protect aircraft interiors.

  • Use the material tracking system for parts demand, tracking squawks, and work sign-offs.

  • Collaborate with lead technicians to implement process improvements using Lean Six-Sigma and other techniques.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of inspection and process specifications.

  • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.

  • Ability to climb ladders, work in restricted areas, lift up to 40 lbs, and work any shift.

  • Computer literate.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
