JOB TITLE: CNC Tooling Technician
LOCATION: Pinellas Park, FL
PAY RATE: $30/hour

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Interpret blueprints, design schematics, and CAD drawings to visualize and calculate metal shapes and tolerances

• Design jigs and templates to aid in tool fabrication

• Measure, mark, cut, and shape metal stock to precise specifications

• Set up and operate machine tools such as drills, lathes, grinders, milling machines, and CNC machining centers

• Perform filing, grinding, and shimming to achieve smooth finishes

• Fit and assemble tools and die parts accurately

• Inspect finished dies and tools for defects, smoothness, and contour accuracy

• Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues efficiently

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED 

• Apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience in tool and die making

• In-depth knowledge of machine tools and their applications

• Excellent attention to detail and precision craftsmanship

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Highly motivated team player with a proactive attitude

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
