Job Description

JOB TITLE: CNC Fabrication - Entry Level - Free Housing Support

LOCATION: North Charleston, SC

PAY RATE: $26.00 per hour

  • 12-month contract with opportunities for extension

  • Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, and LTD through Cigna after working 30 days on contract

Summary:

  • Perform machine setup, machining, welding, sheet metal fabrication, extrusion, tube bending, and composite lay-up tasks.

  • Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components, power plants, drive trains, and perform soldering on avionics.

  • Install wire harnesses and avionics products.

  • Prepare test articles and devices for data collection and testing.

  • Conduct basic chemical conversion, paint prep, and apply coatings for corrosion protection.

  • Work on limited-complexity items per established drawings and requirements.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).

  • 6+ months of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or aviation.

  • Proficiency with hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, sockets) and high-impact vibratory tools.

  • 6+ months of experience with pneumatic/hydraulic equipment and computer software for reading technical instructions.

  • Ability to handle high-hazard chemicals.

  • Experience with material layup, CNC operations, crane operations, and precision measuring.

  • Skilled in interpreting aviation drawings, specs, schematics, and diagrams.
