Summary:
Perform visual inspection of solder and conformal coating on circuit card assemblies (CCAs) per IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001.
Follow predetermined methods, inspection operations, drawings, and written instructions.
Use measuring devices such as dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, etc.
Conduct 100% visual inspection of CCA assemblies to manufacturing and industry specifications, including IPC standards and related reference documents.
Requirements:
HS Diploma or GED required.
Ability to work under a microscope and sit for extended periods.
2+ years solder/visual inspection experience or 2+ years manufacturing/soldering experience with electronic assemblies.
1+ year conformal coating experience.
Experience inspecting solder connections or building CCAs per IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001.
Strong attention to detail; quality- and process-focused.
Skilled in interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, and IPC standards.
Strong communication skills; team-oriented; able to work professionally with manufacturing.
Basic PC proficiency.
Documentation Skills (1–2 yrs)

IPC-J-STD (2–4 yrs)
Measurement Standards (1–2 yrs)
Visual Inspection (2–4 yrs)
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
