JOB TITLE: Boiler Operator

PAY RATE: Up to $50/hour

Summary: 

• Operating and maintaining high-pressure, manually controlled and fully automatic steam boilers.

• Servicing boilers, regulating temperatures, monitoring fuel feeds, maintaining proper combustion, and managing all supporting systems such as pumps, injectors, emission control devices, and related accessories.

• Operate chillers, air compressors, and other essential equipment within the central utility plant.

• Operate and maintain high-pressure steam boilers (manual and automatic)

• Adjust temperatures, draft fans, and natural gas/fuel feeds to ensure optimal boiler performance

• Perform regular maintenance on automatic equipment, emission controls, and pumps

• Maintain proper water levels and fuel/water treatment

• Monitor and interpret pressure, combustion, and system gauges

• Conduct functional checks during operations and post-repair activities

• Operate and maintain chillers, air compressors, and other utility plant systems

• Open availability is required to support 24/7 operations

• Potential for direct hire after 90 days based on performance and business needs

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Prior experience operating high-pressure boilers

• Prior experience operating chillers and related equipment

• Experience in a central utility plant or similar environment preferred

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
