JOB TITLE: Avionics Installer II 
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $28.75/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Assist with installations, modifications, and fabrication of electrical components and systems per blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings.

• Maintain required logs and records.

• Complete tasks within allotted time frame, ensuring all work meets regulatory requirements and customer specifications.

• Verify work is defect-free prior to final inspection.

• Adhere to FOD program, tool control, 5-S program, and safety regulations.

• Keep work area organized and clean.

• Maintain shop equipment and tools.

• Participate in continuous improvement activities.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics or two (2) years related work experience, or an avionics certificate and one (1) year of related experience.

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and customer specifications.

• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Computer skills and general software knowledge.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
