JOB TITLE: Avionics Installer I
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $25.65/hour

Summary: 

• Entry-level position

• Assist with removal/installation of avionics and electrical components, wire harness fabrication, terminations, and functional testing of systems.

• Assist in the installation, modification, and fabrication of wiring, electrical components, and equipment per blueprints and engineering drawings

• Support task completion within designated timeframes

• Help maintain required logs and documentation

• Follow all safety guidelines and comply with FOD, tool control, and 5S programs

• Properly maintain assigned tools and equipment

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Six (6) months of accredited schooling in aviation electronics or general electrical experience preferred

• General knowledge of regulatory requirements and customer specifications

• Must be able to use a multimeter

• Technical certificate in aircraft electrical assembly preferred, or recent completion of a related youth apprenticeship program

• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Basic computer and software proficiency

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
