JOB TITLE: Avionics Installer I
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $25.65/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
-
Assist with the installation, modification, and fabrication of wiring, electrical components, and fixtures per blueprints and engineering drawings.
-
Complete tasks within the allocated timeframe.

Maintain required logs and records.
-
Follow company FOD, tool control, 5-S programs, and safety regulations.

Maintain shop equipment and tools as directed by the Supervisor.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or GED required.
-
General knowledge of regulatory requirements and customer specifications.

Must know how to use a multimeter.

Six (6) months of accredited schooling in aviation electronics or general electrical experience preferred.

Technical certificate in aircraft electrical assembly preferred, or successful completion of a youth apprenticeship program sponsored by Gulfstream.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Basic computer skills and general software knowledge required.
