LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $32.18/hour

Summary:
-
Provide technical expertise in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing aircraft systems while minimizing schedule impact.
-
Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in all tasks. May act as a Senior Avionics/Electrical Technician when needed.

Perform testing, troubleshooting, and installation of avionics/electrical systems per engineering specs and manuals.

Repair or replace wiring and components using proper techniques (splicing, soldering, pinning).

Conduct engineering changes, modifications, and functional tests using necessary equipment.

Ensure all work is properly documented for inspection.

Follow FOD, tool control, and safety regulations.

Adapt to schedule changes and support aircraft certification, including flight tests if required.
Required Skills:
-
Knowledge of hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, or structural repairs is a plus.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

Must be able to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs.

English proficiency required.
Desired Skills:
-
A&P License, FCC certification, NCATT certification.
