JOB TITLE: Avionics/Electrical Technician II - 2nd Shift 
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $32.18/hour

Summary: 

• Provide technical expertise in testing aircraft systems, troubleshooting, and repairing discrepancies to minimize schedule impact.

• May serve as backup to the Senior Avionics/Electrical Technician, supporting company goals in safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

• Perform operational testing and troubleshooting of avionics and aircraft systems.

• Install and functionally test electrical/avionics components and systems per engineering drawings, specs, and manuals.

• Troubleshoot and resolve system/process issues to ensure high-quality, efficient repairs.

• Use industry-accepted repair techniques, including soldering, splicing, and pinning.

• Incorporate engineering changes and modifications as required.

• Set up and operate test equipment; conduct functional and reliability testing.

• Ensure all work is properly documented and ready for inspection.

• Test and maintain electronic systems and related test equipment.

• Adhere to FOD, tool control, 5S, and safety programs.

• Adapt to schedule changes as needed.

• May participate in aircraft certification and final phase flight testing.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Four (4) years of experience in an avionics/electrical career field or two (2) years of accredited aviation electronics schooling plus two (2) years of related experience.

• FAA A&P license preferred.

• FCC and/or NCATT certifications preferred.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting other aircraft systems (e.g., hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, environmental controls, or structures) is preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Must be able to climb ladders/stairs, work in confined areas, and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
