Summary: 

• Demonstrate basic technical skills in avionics and aircraft systems operational testing and troubleshooting

• Under supervision, perform installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components and systems per engineering specifications, drawings, and maintenance manuals

• Assist in ensuring quality and efficiency in all installations; troubleshoot systems to provide timely, high-quality repairs

• Learn and apply skills required to repair or replace defective components and wiring using accepted practices, including splicing, soldering, and pinning

• Perform and comply with engineering changes and modifications as needed

• Assist in setting up and operating test equipment; conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability

• Under supervision, ensure all work performed is properly documented and ready for inspection

• Test and maintain electronic systems, components, and test equipment

• Comply with company programs including FOD control, tool control, 5S, and all safety regulations

• May support aircraft certification and final phase testing, including flight tests as required

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Two (2) years of related work experience or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics

• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams

• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, work in confined areas, and lift up to 50 pound

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
