Job Details:
Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)
Shift: Weekend

Summary:
Provide technical expertise to test, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft systems, ensuring minimal schedule impact while maintaining safety and quality.
Perform operational testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics and electrical systems per engineering specifications and manuals.
Ensure quality installations and troubleshoot processes for timely, defect-free repairs.
Repair or replace defective wiring and components using approved techniques (splicing, soldering, pinning).
Conduct and document engineering changes, modifications, and testing.
Operate and maintain test equipment; conduct functional and reliability evaluations.
Adhere to safety regulations, FOD (Foreign Object Debris) programs, tool control, and 5-S initiatives.
Support aircraft certification and final phase testing, including flight tests if required.
This position ensures adherence to safety, quality, and schedule standards while supporting critical aircraft systems.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
Preferred knowledge in troubleshooting other systems, such as hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, and structural installations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Physical requirements: ability to climb stairs/ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 pounds.
