JOB TITLE: Avionics/Electrical Technician II 
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $32.18/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Perform operational testing and troubleshooting of avionics and aircraft systems.

• Install and functionally test electrical/avionics components per engineering specifications, drawings, and manuals.

• Ensure quality installations by diagnosing and repairing system discrepancies.

• Repair or replace defective components and wiring using proper techniques (splicing, soldering, pinning).

• Execute engineering changes and modifications as required.

• Operate and maintain test equipment, conducting functional tests to verify performance.

• Accurately document all work for inspection compliance.

• Follow company FOD, tool control, 5S, and safety programs.

• Adapt to schedule changes as needed.

• Support aircraft certification and final phase testing, including flight tests if required.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• 4 years of experience in avionics/electrical or 2 years of aviation electronics schooling plus 2 years of related experience.

• A&P license, FCC certification, and NCATT certification preferred.

• Knowledge of other aircraft systems (hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, environmental controls, structural installations) preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to climb stairs/ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs.
