JOB TITLE: Avionics/Elec Technician II 

LOCATION: Savannah, GA

PAY RATE: $32.18 per hour

Summary: 

• Provide technical expertise in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing aircraft systems to minimize schedule impact, ensuring safety and quality are maintained.

• Perform operational testing, installation, and troubleshooting of avionics and electrical systems per engineering specs, drawings, and manuals.

• Ensure quality and efficiency in installations and repairs.

• Repair or replace defective components using splicing, soldering, and pinning techniques.

• Implement engineering changes and modifications as required.

• Operate test equipment and conduct functional tests to evaluate system performance.

• Document all work thoroughly for inspection.

• Comply with FOD, tool control, 5S, and safety programs.

• Support aircraft certification and final phase testing, including flight tests when necessary.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Four (4) years of experience in avionics/electrical, or two (2) years of aviation electronics schooling and two (2) years of related experience.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting other aircraft systems (e.g., hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls) preferred.

• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces.
