Summary:
Manufacture and install aircraft wire harness assemblies.
Fabricate and install harnesses for cabinets, panels, and assemblies.
Oversee daily operations, ensuring quality and efficiency.
Develop and maintain process, quality, and procedural documents.
Manage department tools, equipment, and work orders.
Test and verify final products, assisting with certification.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Meet deadlines and work schedules set by supervisors.
Required Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent.
U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
Must pass background and drug screening.
Minimum tool list required within six months of employment.
5+ years of corporate, commercial, or military aircraft wiring experience.
Strong knowledge of aircraft wire harness manufacturing techniques.
Ability to read and interpret engineering data and measuring instruments.
Problem-solving skills for complex electrical interface issues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to fabricate and install wiring on various aircraft components.
Candidates must obtain a minimum toolset within six months, including pliers, screwdrivers, wrenches, wire cutters, ratchet-socket set, flashlight, and more.
Physical Requirements:
Compliance with DOT/FAA drug and alcohol testing.
Ability to lift 25 lbs. (up to 100 lbs. with assistance).
Comfortable working on ladders, overhead, or in confined spaces.
Full hand dexterity and normal/corrected vision required.
