JOB TITLE: Autoclave Operator Technician I - 2nd Shift
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $21.21/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Assist in the setup and operation of autoclaves to cure and bond metallic and non-metallic aircraft parts and assemblies

  • Select parts for simultaneous processing based on similar curing requirements and autoclave capacity

  • Position racks and tooling inside autoclaves for processing

  • Connect thermocouples and vacuum lines to tooling ports and fittings

  • Retrieve and prepare lay-up tools for bonding operations

  • Clean and store tooling after curing operations

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following FOD, 5S, and safety standards

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • 1 year of related or autoclave operational experience

  • Basic computer literacy

  • Valid driver’s license required (to obtain cart and forklift authorization)

  • Q-Stamp certification preferred; new hires must obtain Q-Stamp within 12 months

  • Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints

  • Basic operational knowledge of overhead cranes, forklifts, and tow equipment

  • Basic understanding of manufacturing procedures, math skills, and production documentation

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

  • Ability to work any shift

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
