JOB TITLE: Assembly Technician - Electronic Assembly and Electrical Testing

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Perform production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies (modules, boards, panels, frames, cables).
Work from diagrams and drawings, make initial layouts, and use hand/power tools, jigs, and saws.
Conduct continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies.
Perform quality inspections on the processing line to ensure compliance with specifications.
Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies according to specifications.
Requirements:
IPC-A-620 experience required (certification not required)
Experience with electronic assembly and electrical testing.
Mechanical assembly skills.
Knowledge of cable harnesses.
Familiarity with basic mechanical and electrical concepts.
