JOB TITLE: Assembler - Solder Rework IPC-A-610 - 1st Shift

Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Shift: Monday – Thursday, 5 AM – 3:30 PM EST.

Summary:
Perform SMT component rework and modifications per Engineering Change Orders.
Inspect assemblies to meet IPC-A-610 quality standards, identifying component and soldering defects.
Modify and repair products per documentation and procedures.
Work with fine-pitch solder on component boards.
Ensure accuracy by following BOMs, Engineering Change Orders, and process work orders.
Remove and replace PTH and SMT components, including resistors, capacitors, diodes, ICs, transistors, switches, fuses, connectors, transformers, inductors, and LEDs.
Utilize standard work documentation, diagrams, and instructions to rework units.
Maintain high-quality standards and ensure product accuracy.
Identify deviations from standard practices and communicate accordingly.
Maintain prompt and regular attendance to ensure workflow efficiency.
Perform additional duties as required for quality assurance.
Requirements:
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access).
Experience with IPC-A-610 standards and high-volume assembly/inspection.
Self-motivated team player in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
Experience with SMT fine-pitch components (lead width < 50 mil) and proper flux application.
Prior CCA soldering or similar experience required.
Must read/write English and pass a medical exam per supplier guidelines.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
