Summary:
Design, build, and deploy internal web applications end-to-end using modern tools and best practices
Work across the full stack:
Database design (SQL Server, Oracle)
Backend APIs (Python / FastAPI)
Frontend interfaces (React / Vite with TypeScript)
Containerize applications using Docker and support the development of CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
Migrate legacy applications from Windows Server/IIS to modern, containerized environments
Collaborate directly with engineers and 3D designers to understand workflows and iterate on solutions
Troubleshoot production issues across the full stack, from database queries to containerized deployments
Contribute to architecture decisions and help shape the team’s technical direction
Requirements:
3+ years of experience building and deploying full-stack applications in a professional environment
Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or similar)
Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized deployments
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, etc.)
Comfortable working in Linux environments for deployment and administration
Ability to work across multiple languages and frameworks without strong bias toward one stack
Proven ability to take a project from concept to production independently
Working knowledge of AI/LLM integration, including:
Calling model APIs
Building RAG pipelines
Prompt engineering
Embedding AI capabilities into applications
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with FastAPI, React (Vite), or modern Python web frameworks
Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Compose, etc.)
Familiarity with aerospace, manufacturing, or engineering-focused environments
Experience with Git and Azure DevOps
Deeper AI/ML experience, such as:
Model fine-tuning
Vector databases (FAISS, pgvector)
Anomaly detection or document classification
